Kodiak is an American Amber Ale but not as sweet as the classic style. WIth just over half the typical amount of Crystal malt used in an American Amber, it gives the hops a chance to bring out some beautiful orange marmalade characteristics, with just a hint of pine. A nice nod to the big Alaskan forest dwelling creature this beer is named after.
