7 Inch Series: Nelson Sauvin Single Hop Saison

Описание

Our 7 Inch series aims to showcase one hop varietal in all its glory. Here, it’s Nelson Sauvin, dressed to kill in a stunning Saison. Harvested in the Nelson region of New Zealand (the ‘top of the South’), this bold hop serves up aromas of crushed gooseberries reminiscent of a top-shelf Kiwi Sav Blanc. While you’d mostly find this hop in a Pale Ale or IPA, we reckon it pairs beautifully with the citrus tartness of this more traditional farmhouse ale. Brewed as part of the 2022 NZ Hops Great Brew Challenge, presented in partnership with Bintani and Carwyn Cellars.
