German style Kölsch using pilsner malt and a German Kölsch yeast that imparts mild fruity esters. German Ariana and NZ Nectaron bestows tropical hop notes.From Germanic myth Fafnir was originally a dwarf who slew his father and stole a treasure hoard out of greed. A cursed ring in the hoard turned him into a dragon. Fafnir’s brother Regin forges a special sword for Sigurd. Sigurd slays Fafnir and eats his heart providing him with wisdom and insight. He then kills Regin who was going to betray him and takes the large treasure hoard for himself.
