A tart, tiki cocktail inspired sour ale brewed in collaboration with the tiki titans of Austin, our friends at Tiki Tatsu-Ya. This fruited sour ale’s recipe was inspired by the Navy Grog of the 1940’s, made popular by some of the original pioneers in tiki. Our ode to Tiki Tatsu-Ya’s own rendition, the Forbidden Grog, is brewed with pureed banana, grapefruit, lime zest, Amburana wood, allspice, hibiscus & milk sugar. This seasonally inspired sour ale is brimming with tart tropical vibes and a fruity foundation of banana, honey, fig, citrus & spice flavors.
