In this Dark Lager, we used dark specialty malts including chocolate malt and vienna, and black wheat. It’s roasty and deep and has notes of chocolate, biscuit, coffee, ginger snaps, and rye.This 5% dark horse is light and fresh and doesn’t weigh you down or have a dense body. We wanted it to be like like a European dark beer, full of flavor but not heavy.This dark lager is kind of a blend between a Dunkel, a Schwarzbier and a Baltic Porter.
