The name "HOLZBOCK" literally means "wood-bock", but that is also the German word for "tick" ("wood-goat")Brewed with Pilsner yeast. The beer goes through a 2 week fermentation, followed by a 6 week lager, and the last two weeks w/American "strong toast" oak chips.
