Crustacean Congress is a Low Country Boil Stout, loosely based on the style of an American stout, brewed with the addition of corn, potato, prawns, shrimp and a Creole spice blend from Louisiana. Pouring jet black with a tan head, the beer gives spiced and herbaceous aromatics on top of a robust roasted malt profile, with complex flavours of malt, cacao, savoury spice seasoning and a hint of shellfish. Not your everyday beer,then!
