Sharbat

Sharbat is a traditional Persian fruit syrup diluted with water and ice to make a cooling drink. I was born in Iran and in summer we would sit around the water fountain in the bazaar listening to the storyteller and drinking sharbat. The Persians have had a long love affair with sour cherries (albaloo) and rose water and combine the two to make Sharbat-e-Albaloo. This mixed ferment sour ale is Cell Division’s nod to that timeless and delicious flavour combination.
