Fieldwork was founded on the ethos of constant experimentation and rotation as a tool to ward off the potential monotony of making, packaging, pouring, and drinking a stagnant lineup of beers week in and week out. Lately, we have enjoyed rotating our beers less often and focusing more on the ones we hold dearest. To satiate our hunger for new beers and to use ingredients that don't appear in our rotation mainstays, we decided to increase the volume of pilot batches and release our R&D beers for your enjoyment. With the lion's share of innovation being in hops and yeast, expect to see iterations of Pale Ales and IPAs highlighting these marvels of modern beer science, with the occasional experimental hop and flagrant use of biotransformation thrown in. For this Field Report, we are remixing the New Zealand IPA by teaming up our Waimea hops with some hop terpene isolate, cranking the southern hemisphere hop intensity up to 11, and adding a layer of complexity that hops alone can't achieve.Hops: Waimea
