When our mates at Odd Culture made the journey back up the Mountains to brew our second collaboration beer we thought it was only fitting to brew a beer based on a Tiki Cocktail that means a lot to us both. The Painkiller cocktail is a mainstay of Odd Culture venues cocktail lists and for Mountain Culture, well let’s just say that Painkiller cocktails are the only reasons we made it about through the mornings during our recent trip to San Diego.The Painkiller consists of Pusser’s Rum, pineapple and coconut with a touch of orange juice which we’ve recreated using a healthy dose of Sabro and El Dorado hops and creamy, lactose infused body (the rum is sold separately, sorry).
