Brewed by our Senior Brewer, Mike Notley, Shot in the Dark is a rich and spicy brew at 5.4% abv. Tempting aromas of citrus fruit are met with a delicious taste of spice, blackcurrant, and raisin.Maris Otter, Crystal, Cara, and Carafa malts combine for a jet-black beer without offering too much roast character, allowing Simcoe, Ahtanum, Mosaic, and Cascade hops to power through on the palate. We’ve cask-conditioned it for an extended period to provide a thick, creamy off-white head and softened mouthfeel.
