Following 36 months in a Old Rip Van Winkle barrel, we took elements of Homes’ release, Hypersurface, and added to it with an adjunct schedule of peanuts, macadamias, almonds, coconut, honey, cacao nibs, and a blend of 30 types of vanilla.One of our thickest stouts yet, ORVW Barrel Aged Hyperplane glugs out of the bottle and coats the glass with aromas of chocolate bourbon and oaky chocolate caramel. Luxurious flavors of chocolate-covered nut brittle, rich fudge, Almond Joy bars, coconut milk-infused caramel chocolate mousse, and candy coated Cadbury eggs coalesce into a boozy milkshake, complemented by high end Baker's chocolate and a big kiss of barrel heat.
