GOLDEN WINE

This strong, barleywine style ale was brewed with our friend Tristan from Temporal Artisan Ales. His expertise in big beer production allowed us to create something very unique and exciting. We used 100% Skagit Valley Malt and a reiterated mashing technique to build body and flavour. During fermentation, we added a generous amount of pear juice before moving it into cold storage for a long rest at low temperatures. During its extended cold rest, we introduced Amburana wood to allow its natural baking spice flavours to round out the beer. Strong, golden, delicately spiced with hints of baked apple tart and perry.
