People kept asking ‘Where are all the dark beers at?’, but it’s too hot for us for those, but we’ve compromised – a Dark Lager.Still crispy, still smashable in the heat, but unmistakably a dark Brunette hue. This colour comes from use of very dark husk-less wheat – it pops off tonnes of darkness without any harsh astringency, as well as lovely delicate notes of chocolate and coffee.A gentle herbal bitterness is present throughout – we used a single German hop only in this one.Cleanly fermented under pressure with lager yeast also helps a big fluffy white head to hang around in the glass.Pouring now in the tasting room!
