Barrel Aged Almond Pop

Last year we took a small amount of our Almond Pop B1 base and tucked it away in a Weller bourbon barrel. After 14 months of harmonizing, we conditioned this singular barrel on EQ bonfire toasted almonds, Marshmallows, Madagascar Vanilla, and Cake Mix. BA Almond Pop pours pitch black with a mocha head releasing aromas of amaretto, vanilla, oak, toasted nuts, and a celebration of its 14 month b-day. Up front we get a decadent chocolate syrup note leading into flavors of bourbon spiked melted ice cream sundae, crushed nuts, and marshmallow fluff all balanced out by a smooth but complex caramel and vanilla oak barrel presence. A liquid version of an adult ice cream pop!
