Riwaka for example often gets emphasized on the "wa" while Kiwis put it at the beginning! It also has a long-e sound ,"REE-wa-ka." For a long time hop breeding had the wrong emphasis as well, focusing on increasing the bitter alpha-acids rather than the wonderful fruity hop aromatics. Another reason we love Riwaka is its moderate bitterness combined with intense grapefruit, diesel-dankness, and tropical fruit aromatics!
