Of the Bine: Super Pearl

We continue to use our “Of the Bine” series as a means of exploring how the incredible diversity of hop flowers play with the delicate nature of cider. We pushed the dosing on this batch with two big dry hop additions. We started with mounds of whole cone Triple Pearl grown by our friends at Fawn Hill Hop Farm in Reading, PA, then added equal amounts of Superdelic, one of our favorite hops from New Zealand. A blast of hops on the nose hints at the tropical juice and ruby red grapefruit notes on the palate. Three cheers for Super Pearl!
