STACKING CASKS is our series of blended double barrel-aged beers that are finished in a variety of casks, barrels or larger format oak that highlights different flavor additions from multiple barrels using different aging techniques. BLEND 9 pulls from one of our favorite Imperial Stouts that was aged for 20 months in a single Weller Bourbon cask before being finished for two months in a Maker’s Mark Bourbon Barrel that was used previously used to age Maple Syrup. STACKING CASKS | BLEND 9 pours jet black with a coffee foam head and has aromatics of bakers chocolate, maple drenched pancakes and light aromatics of freshly roasted coffee.
