Clear deep copper color, toffee and dried figs with a caramelized sugar coating on the nose. The initial taste follows the aroma quite closely, with a fine body to support the moderate to strong caramel sweetness. The finish gives a hint of overcaramelized sugar bitterness, with a warming feeling down the throat as a proper winter lager.
