Elderflower Sour Saison

Barrel aged elderflower sour daison 7.2% ABV 330ml.Every May we use thr windefully aromatic Elderflower, which grows around the lanes of Edwardstone, tonflavour one of our beers. This year, we had a mellow Saison ageing in oak that we felt would particularly benefit from the addition of these fresh flowers. The original beer was brewed with our own organic barley and Northdown Hops, both grown only five miles from the brewery. The low hopping rate allowed a level of sourness to develop over the five months it was maturing in oak barrels, resulting in a beer which is highly aromatic, dry, and funky - with a sharp finish.
