Описание
Epergne-Russet is a collaboration between Little Pomona of Herefordshire & The Fine Cider Company of London. Drawn from 2019 & 2020, it's mostly Egremont Russet (87%) apples aged for eight months in ex-Chardonnay barrels, with 13% of Browns Apple & Dabinett aged 15 months in a former rum barrel. The name marries the Egremont, being a russetted apple, with epergne (pronounced: epp-earn) meaning ‘an ornamental centrepiece for a dining table, typically used for holding fruit or flowers’. Epergnes came to prominence during the heyday of cider & perry in the 1700s.
