Finger on the Pulse is a unique farmhouse saison brewed in collaboration with Brandon Hernandez of San Diego Beer News. When Brandon approached us to make this year’s SD Beer News anniversary beer, we could not have been more excited. Bringing Brandon’s vision for this celebratory saison to life, we sourced French saison yeast from the Calais region in France, and complemented the yeast's notes by adding Mega Motueka hops (a blend of Motueka hops + Phantasm aka sauvignon blanc grape skins) into the brew. Flavors of white wine, navel orange, lemon peel, and clove shine exquisitely on the palate. Finger on the Pulse is an intricately layered experience for the senses, and is the perfect beer to sip on these warm summer days.
