Working with Dean and Jill from Baker’s Dozen Brewing Co in Ketton, we collaborated at Artefact to make a contemporary take on a classic English IPA.To show that British Hops can pack a punch, we used a combination of UK grown Chinook, Godiva and a flowable form of Ernest hop called Spectrum. Adding the spectrum as a ‘whirlpool’ and ‘hop dip’ addition to promote biotransformation with the yeast.Expect grapefruit, pineapple and tangerine on the nose with a base of caramel and biscuit, finishing on a biting bitterness - keeping this fruity beer balanced and highly drinkable.
