Brewed with Bravo, Mandarina, and Azacca hops plus Grains of Paradise, this slightly spicy, citrusy, yet dry wheat beer was inspired by the PBSW Ramblers, one of two major women's softball teams in Phoenix in the ‘40s (the Phoenix A-1 Queens were the other). In 1940, the Ramblers became the first professional team in Arizona to win a national championship—and they would go on to win it all again in 1948 and 1949.A portion of the proceeds from A Wheat of Their Own will go to Impact One, a Gilbert-based charity whose “Hope boxes” provide functional and emotional support to women experiencing breast cancer treatment across the country.
