Aquavit barrel-aged raspberry mead with handpicked and meticulously selected Glen Fyne raspberries from Dusgard, paired with wildflower honey from Sveen Vestre.It starts as an exceptionally pure and powerful expression of the raspberry variety "Glen Fyne". A variety that bursts with flavor and color. After spending almost two years in an aquavit barrel, the flavors and mouthfeel have softened. It has also picked up additional notes of aquavit, caramel, oak, and camphorIf you don't take our word for it, NOFIMA (the Norwegian food research institute) recently tested them and considered them to be the sweetest and most aromatic compared to a bunch of other raspberries they had previously tested.We got these bonkers flavorful raspberries a little further away from where we normally source our fruit. A couple of hours away, close to Norway's largest lake, "Mjøsa".
