Originating in Medieval France and Belgium, these farmhouse style beers (Biere de Table or Tafelbier respectively) have always had a place in the world. Historically 1.5-3% ABV these low alcohol sippers were always on the table during meals or gatherings as a tastier and coincidentally safer option over the questionable drinking water of the time.We’ve created this saison-style table beer for our new barrel room in Leichhardt. It pours a hazy straw gold, with a pillowy head. Aromas of light citrus and spice are met with champagne-like carbonation creating a tasty and refreshing cleanser. Perfect to accompany a meal, to celebrate a well-mown lawn, or to share in good company.
