Our newest Bourbon Barrel aged imperial stout is a 13.2% delicacy with toasted coconut and vanilla beans. The Weller Bourbon barrel was used to age maple syrup for some time before we got our hands on it. We aged this imperial stout in it for a year, then added the vanilla beans and toasted coconut. This beer shouts maple and coconut and whispers vanilla. It’s balanced but layered with flavors and oh so decadent. It has a great body and lingers on the tongue in a really beautiful way. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome of this one.
