Named after Glacier Hops Ranch founder's great aunt - Hildegaard is the hop farm's hop picker and works tirelessly during the hop picking season. She was imported from Northern Bavaria several years ago and has been a fixure of the farm since. At the peak of ripeness, Glacier Hops Ranch takes freshly harvested hops and within hours, they capture all of the fresh, aromatic oils through a proprietary steam-distillation process. Instead of the traditional dry-hopping brewing method using heat-dried, processed hops in a late batch addition, our brewers infused those freshly captured hop oils right back into the beer with the late addition of Glacier Hop's Hopzoil.
