Gruit (grut or gruyt) is an old-style beer brewed using a variety of botanicals. The gruit traces its origins back to the medieval 11th century before hops were readily available and brewers looked to what they could source locally.A truly unique experience our gruit is brewed with Chamomile, Lavender, Mugwort and a variety of spices and garden herbs. It is very floral with a hint of citrus and pleasing nose.
