Rich, mouth-filling stout of British leaning, this stout strikes a balance of caramel, chocolate, crema and roast from the complex malt bill. Dark Munich, Crystal, Vienna, and Chocolate malts are kept honest with a substantial Roasted Barley component – meaning malt driven but dry, not sweet. There are some faint fruit esters hiding behind the richness and the roast comes in late leaving a pleasant roast bitterness on exiting.Or, to sum all that up, it’s a ‘Proper Stout Innit?!
