The crew at King River Brewing have been crafting exceptional examples of traditional beer styles that we love to drink. For this collaboration, we landed on an Italian Pilsner—a refined and refreshing style that paved the way for many of today’s hoppy modern lagers.To keep it authentically Mediterranean, we sourced Eraclea Pilsner Malt, made from the finest two-row Italian Adriatic Coastal barley. This crisp malt base is complemented by Super Noble Hop Loral, along with a blend of Saaz, Ekuanot, and Motueka, added at various stages throughout fermentation.The result? A beautifully clean beer bursting with bready, cracker-like character, balanced by light notes of zesty citrus and melon for a refreshingly crisp finish.
