The Seven Essentials to a good life is an ancient Chinese philosophy that Black Kite is harnessing to create a beer that defines the flavour of Hong Kong. Char Siu is essential to Hong Kong Culinary culture. Traditionally made with a direct fire wood stove, various spices are added into the marking of Char Siu. Inspired by this rockstar of a cuisine, rose flavour, caramel and maltiness supported by clove and star anise created a perfect beer for this perfect food.叉燒喺香港烹飪文化中好重要。傳統上叉燒係運用柴火黎製作，加入多種香料。受到呢道美食啟發，我哋用玫瑰、焦糖同麥芽氣息，搭配丁香同八角嘅香氣，創作出呢款同燒味好夾嘅完美啤。
