It’s fair to say we’ve been taken in fully by Bru-1 since it first landed here at Polly’s HQ. Described by John Haas as the perfect varietal for hop-forward, modern styles of beer, we’ve just found it to be a perfect pairing for the beers we produce from this sleepy corner of North Wales. Bold, punchy pineapple flavours are the predominant aroma and flavour note in this beer, thanks to a hearty 25kg addition in the dry hop and a 10kg addition in the whirlpool, but with some added melon and tropical fruit notes, before rounding off on a clean, crisp bitterness to finish. A beer name coined for the state of some of our incoming and outgoing deliveries at the moment here at the brewery, Late Delivery is a full on Polly’s slammer.
