Sometimes trying to get the best and newest hops feels like a futile and ultimately frustrating endeavor, but when all is said and done, sometimes these hops are harder to access for a reason. Scavenger Hype is a blend of two of our favorite hype-driven hop varietals from New Zealand. These hops were calling out to us to play together. To avoid adulterating their flavor profiles, we went with a super clean and straightforward malt profile with only Pilsner malt and oats. While Nelson hops have been on the scene for several years, Nectaron is the cool new kid on the block reigning from Nelson's namesake-growing region. Its pineapple, passion fruit, and pear flavors work marvelously with Nelson's notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, black currants, diesel, weed, and the aforementioned passion fruit. With such a mild malt profile, the hops make Scavenger Hype equal parts uncharacteristically crushable and tropically delicious.Hops: Nelson, Nectaron
