Shave'd Ice

Have you ever been to Hawaii and had a Shave Ice? This is a beer inspired by that very dessert. Brewed in collaboration with Inu Island Ales from Kaneohe, Hawaii, we took a Sour Blonde and added Lilikoi and Guava puree then recirculated it through fresh coconut and lactose to simulate a coconut cream. All real fruit in this beer. The fruits and lactose provide the majority of the flavor while the slight acidity of the base beer cuts through the fruit sweetness giving you a harmonious treat in a glass.
