Of the Woods: Apple Brandy Barrel Perry IV

Our fourth Perry through an Apple Brandy Barrel! Made with all local PA pears from our friends at Weaver's Orchard, a blend of Bosc, Harrow Sweet, Gem and Niitaka pressed in the winter of 2023. After fermentation, we aged this Perry for about a year and finished it in a fresh Apple Brandy Barrel from the fine Manatawny Still Works. Softened by the barrel time, and with a touch of that brandy on the nose, we find a sweet-tart and full pear presence on the palate with a bit of that barrel character throughout. All pears, one more time! We're excited to be able to bring a Perry to the tap room, and hope you enjoy!
