This taproom exclusive IPA has a orange-y twist to it! These kveiks (yeasts) hailing from Voss, Norway, are when fermenting hot quite the ester bombs. It finishes the beer out medium-dry but with a nice pungent orange sweetness to it. We paired these esters with the peel of local oranges and citrussy-piny hops (simcoe, chinook and citra). The yeasts cloudy finish is enhanced by adding 12% of oats / unmalalted wheat, which gives the beer that unfiltered flavourful look. The aroma is a slap-in-the-face flowerbed due to a tripple dryhop that was rested on top of a firm bittering of 60 IBUs.
