Dadaism is an imperial stout that was aged for 13 months in a bourbon barrel that was then used to hold blackberry brandy. After aging, we added chocolate and vanilla beans.The nose is full of fudgy cosmic brownies with notes of saucy blackberry reduction. There’s also a bunch of warm brandy in the aroma.It is 14.5% abv and the flavor is PACKED with strong Bourbon-y molasses. It’s thiccc and dense but has a soft pillowy feel from the vanilla bean addition. There are flavors of dark brown sugar and sweet notes of fig. The lingering tongue tastes like those brookshire chocolate covered berries… but if you warmed them up somehow.The lingering sweetness sticks to your lips and makes you want to keep coming back. It’s divine. A cross between blackberry syrup, chocolate dipped berries and warm brownies. Let it warm up a bit to open the flavors before enjoying.
