Our Session Series continues its journey, this time exploring the delights of the Citra hop. This tart session IPA was produced in Dublin on our mates kit at Third Barrel. We brewed a base heavy on oats with a very low amount of bitterness coming from Pacifica hops. Fermentation started with a lactic acid producing wine yeast before finishing off with a New England ale yeast & a healthy helping of Citra on the dry hop. The resulting hazy brew has notes of lychee & grapefruit with a lovely tart zing to the cheeks in the finish.
