The estranged older brother to the rest of our sea salt IPA's, Sea Stories is a violently dank IPA with sea salt running through its veins. Coming into port like a cargo ship full of hops that crashed into an opium den; this IPA smells of the stickiest flowers and the roughest seas. A sturdy hull of English malts give this unique concoction a bready background with hints of toasted biscuit and hardtack. Its appearance is quite apropos and reminiscent of a stormy ocean, painting the visual story that is the barrage of hops about to rain down on the deck of your palate. Huge dank flavors crash against the palate throwing your tastebuds around like buoys in a hurricane; followed soon after with enough tangerine, grapefruit, and citrus notes to fight off scurvy for an entire fleet. We can't tell you when Sea Stories Dank Sea Salt IPA will be coming back or if it will disappear into the cold abyss of beers long since passed, but we highly suggest putting your ear to this conch while you have a chance.
