Mixed culture Saison aged 2 years in a bourbon barrel @ 8.9% Another beer for our Building Bridges series where we celebrate bridges that Mohawk Ironworkers built and continue to maintain to this day. This time we tip our hat to those who worked on the George Washington Bridge (a.k.a the GWB) connecting Fort Lee to Upper Manhattan with this complex yet simply fantastic display of what wild yeast and bacteria in a bourbon-soaked environment can do over 2 years. Booze and bourbon warms the nose and sets the foundation for a punch of acidity on the first sip. The second sip mellows on the palette and finishes slightly dry but flavourful with the lactones (buttery notes) from the bourb
