This festive ale is modeled after a Gingerbread cookie. The use of lightly toasted malt along with flaked oatmeal provides a malty backbone in the beer. The liberal use of fresh ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg play nicely with the malt sweetness and light dose of US hops. Your average gingerbread man cookie might be cute and little, but after a couple pints of this beer, and you’ll realize they ain’t so cute and little afterall!
