A belgian style beer from Kirke Hyllinge. We wish to brew a beer like beers from the old monasterys in Belgium. The taste is sweet, caramel and candy sugar. The colour is dark brown. We have made the candysugar ourself – and we use a lot of it. The yeast is the trappisttype. The beer has matured for a long time in the cellar. Beer of this type will improve if it’s matured for some months. Buy some few bottles more, and keep it in adark place. Funky Monk is very good as the beer to cheeses and sweet desserts.
