Black Raspberry Black Currant mead with Vanilla. Aged on Oak.Pacific Northwest Meadowfoam and Kentucky Wildflower Honey provide a sweet base for this melomel with notes of marshmallow. Paired with Wisconsin Black Raspberries and Polish Black Currants, the fruit lends tart acidity and drying tannins to balance out the profile. We then aged this Mead on a generous amount of Grade A Papua New Guinea Tahitian Vanilla Beans and French Oak. Vanilla Beans and vanilin from the Oak round out this mead with fruity red wine esters on the aroma.
