Running Masquerade

Описание

In Belize, the Jonkonnu is a type of Masquerade ritual in which the participants wear white or pink masks and run, dance and sing from house to house in search of food and drinks from the community. The dance is said to have origins in the mahogany camps where Garifuna and Creoles were forced to work with the intent being to mock their English slave owners. In honor of this Running Masquerade, we offer this easy and refreshing drinker with roots in both the Caribbean and England - a light and mild Brown Ale conditioned on one of the New World's delights: heaps and heaps of chocolate! Have a drink in honor of resistance the world over!
