But this year you are not alone out there..You have no damn clue who or what is waiting in the dark until it is too late. So you just better take that challenge instead of running away, it will hunt you down anyway.With our Waiting In The Dark we want to adress a beerstyle which is absolutely underrepresented in our opinion:The hoppy black ale (Well, you may wanna call it Black IPA or Cascadian dark ale and you are allowed to do so!)In our case we wanted to combine a stout-like malt base with a rather modern hop punch.The result appears in a blackish brown colour, a beautiful beige head and a medium carbonation.We smell cocoa, roasted malt, dank pineapple and burnt bread with hints of dark stone fruits and vanilla.Our hoppy black ale is relatively light bodied but never watery and has flavours of dank pineapple, roasted malts, tropical fruits and cocoa.A medium strong but dry bitterness incites for the next sip.Recommendation depending on personal preference:Enjoy this beer a little colder if u want to let the hops shine a little bit more and experience the ultimate power of Idaho7 with its green, dank, pineapple-gummies-like punch even more!Cheers!
