B:1b is an American barley wine hopped with Idaho 7 hops. The base beer (D:13) was double-mashed and brewed in April 2024. Following initial fermentation on steel, the beer was aged for 10 months on a freshly emptied smoked (ex-Ardbegh) whisky cask from our local distillery, Fary Lochan.
