Ale aged in oak barrels with peaches. Leaner is our Farmhouse ale brewed in collaboration with Side Project Brewing from St. Louis, MO. We share yeast cultures and peaches to each create our own version of the beer. We use both house yeast cultures to ferment the base beer in oak barrels for several months before aging the beer on whole, fresh organic peaches. We came up with the name from one of our peach growers; a leaner is a peach so ripe that you must lean forward to avoid the juice from spilling down your shirt.
