Brewdolf

Bourbon cask red ale.Introducing our 2018 Seasonal Special, Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you Brewdolf!Earlier this year we produced a beautiful amber Barley Wine at 7.3% abv. We then transferred this to fresh Bourbon casks and allowed it to mature for 5 months at cold temperatures. The beer developed softer textual notes, bringing the beer into complete balance with the bourbon vanilla overlay. The end product, with its heady vanilla overlay and rich and fruity raisin like notes, belies its final 9% abv. Ideal with the Plum Pudding or Christmas cake! This is a beer with a message and that message is: Happy Christmas, from the The 5 Lamps Brewery crew!
