Dutch Lentebock

Working with René from Beautiful Beers in Bury St Edmunds, we collaborated at Artefact on a special release, a Dutch Lentebock.This is our second collab with René, for this we wanted to take a seasonal twist, brewing a ‘Spring Bock’. We used malts rich in bread and honey character, a modest addition of Celeia and Mandarina Bavaria hops, and a slow fermentation with lager yeast. Making a sweet yet crisp lager with subtle tones of citrus fruit.Expect aromas of honey, subtle tangerine and bread crust, finishing with an abundance of biscuit and caramel, balanced by clean bitterness.
